Trenor Williams, MD, serves as managing partner of Clinovations within Advisory Board Consulting. He has a long history of leading computerized physician order entry implementation, ambulatory electronic health record strategy, and clinical transformation engagements.
He has worked with many of the largest and most complex Epic health systems over the last 13 years, including Kaiser Permanente, the Cleveland Clinic, and Johns Hopkins Health System, among others. Trenor has significant experience developing benefits realization, physician adoption, and clinical transformation strategies, as well as working with third-party vendors to develop evidence-based clinical content.
Prior to beginning his consulting career in 2002, Trenor served as the medical director of family practice at Mammoth Hospital and was a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Naval Reserve. He serves on a number of local and national boards, including the American Medical Informatics Association Industry Advisory Council, the DC Greens board of directors, and the Share Our Strength Leadership Council.
He received his doctor of medicine from Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va., and a bachelor of science in biology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in Blacksburg, Va. He completed his family practice residency at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles, Calif.
