Abby Burns


Experience and background

Abby is a researcher, speaker, and facilitator who helps bring our research to life. Her areas of focus include macro healthcare industry trends and behavioral health, and she has a special interest in health system strategy and population health management.

Abby previously led research on primary care strategy, rural health, social determinants of health, health system lab strategy, artificial intelligence, and health equity.

Abby earned her BA in public health from the University of Richmond. She volunteers as an EMT in Prince George's County, Maryland, where she witnesses many of the challenges Advisory Board research aims to help members address.
