Director, Digital health research
Ty Aderhold
Ty helps lead the digital health research team at Advisory Board. His team researches the latest advancements in digital health from a cross-industry perspective, focusing on the latest strategies from providers, payers, big tech, and digital health vendors.
In a previous role at Advisory Board, Ty led a research team dedicated to imaging and radiology. Ty graduated from Harvard University with a BA in the history of science. In his spare time, he serves as the head coach of the DC Shadow, a professional women's Ultimate team based in Washington, DC.
Ty serves as Advisory Board's lead expert on the issue of digital inequity and digital consumer experience. He has authored numerous pieces on the subject and presented this work at HLTH, AHIP Digital, and CHIME. Ty has also led the digital health team's research into big tech and retail moves into healthcare, creating key pieces of thought leadership on the current and potential future moves of Amazon, CVS, Google, and others.
