About Michael

Michael Katherine Haynie serves as managing director of delivery services for Crimson Continuum of Care. In this role, she oversees the team as they support hospital and health system executives in using Crimson to identify, implement, and achieve performance improvement opportunities centered on improving quality and reducing cost for hospital-based care. Michael’s focus is to ensure all members receive the most value from Crimson Continuum of Care.

Michael brings over twelve years of experience in health care quality improvement to her role. Prior to joining Advisory Board, she worked with hospitals to reduce preventable readmissions as program manager at Delmarva Foundation, a Quality Improvement Organization for CMS. She also has experience using web-based systems for health care data capture and analysis from her work at Outcome, which included supporting hospitals and physician practices in programs such as Get With The Guidelines, OPTIMIZE-HF, Joint Commission Core Measures, the Outcome PQRI Registry, and numerous Phase IV clinical registries.

Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Harvard University.
