Kelli Clifton Ogunsanya is a director with more than 13 years of experience in health care strategy and operations. In this role, Kelli is responsible for the management of day-to-day client relationships, strategic development and project planning of engagements, and partnering with healthcare executive teams to build tactical action plans and transformational initiatives.
Kelli has served as a trusted advisor to health system executives via the firm’s Surgical Profitability Compass, Revenue Cycle Consulting, and Clinovations service offerings. Most recently, Kelli served as a project manager for a South Carolina client seeking to integrate two distinct medical groups while concurrently going-live with a Cerner EMR implementation across 100+ practices. Supporting both academic medical centers and rural hospitals, Kelli identified over $11 million in annual cost savings through perioperative process improvement, EMR workflows and clinical documentation, standardized reporting, point of service collection and denials management.
Prior to joining the Advisory Board, Kelli was a senior consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). At PwC, Kelli worked with a diverse client base, including commercial health systems, public sector agencies, and biopharmaceutical companies. Internationally, Kelli has also consulted for various public, private partnerships (PPPs) and healthcare capacity building initiatives across Ethiopia, Liberia, Nigeria, and South Africa.
Prior to these roles, Kelli served as an administrative associate in the Office of the CEO for The Ohio State University Medical Center and completed a health administrative fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
Kelli received a master in health administration with honors from The Ohio State University’s College of Public Health, earned a bachelor of science in health policy and administration from The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, and is a former pharmacy technician.
