Katie Stansky serves as the director of member education and communication for the Crimson Care Delivery vertical. In this role, she leads a team dedicated to training, educating, engaging, and exchanging best practices with Crimson cohort members. Her team assists the members with their Crimson technologies to gain success in care transformation, risk management, network alignment, and quality.
Prior to this position, Katie served as a senior lead on the Crimson team, managing a team of dedicated advisors across 60 partner organizations and all facets of a project cycle—from identifying opportunity areas to implementing and monitoring the impact of cost containment and health improvement strategies as organizations transition to value-based care models and evolving risk arrangements. In 2014, she led an initiative that resulted in over $38 million in documented ROI.
Before joining The Advisory Board Company, Katie conducted health systems research for a health care system in the Northeast, where she consulted for a team focused on the Triple Aim initiative and executed strategies for measuring population health and intervention impact. Additionally, Katie has held professional roles in the non-profit public health sector, including project management at the American Cancer Society, where she was a researcher and project manager for The Tobacco Atlas, 3rd Edition.
Katie holds a master of public health degree from Emory University, where she concentrated in global health and epidemiology. She earned her undergraduate degree in health management and policy from the University of New Hampshire.
