About Rodrigo

Rodrigo Martinez, MD, serves as senior vice president of Clinovations within Advisory Board Consulting and brings more than 20 years of health care experience to his role. Rodrigo brings extensive information technology skills drawn from his consulting experience at numerous health plans and payers across the county. His continued desire for combining technology and usability with the highest quality health care delivery has driven him to devote his career to assisting health systems, physicians, and insurers align incentives and technology with optimal clinical workflows while maximizing clinical, financial, and operational results.

Rodrigo received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa and his Bachelor of Arts with Honors in psychology from Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H. He completed his surgical internship at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center in Charlottesville, a residency in otolaryngology at University Hospital Stony Brook in Stony Brook, N.Y., and a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery affiliated with the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque. Rodrigo is board-certified in both otolaryngology head and neck surgery and in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and continues to see patients part-time.
