As an expert with the Medical Group Strategy Council, Sarah has spent several years leading research on physician-hospital alignment and integrated medical group management. She works closely with medical group leaders to strengthen integration, enhance care coordination, improve outcomes, and adopt the attributes of a high-performing physician organization. Sarah also leads the Advisory Board’s research initiative on clinical integration, helping health system executives plan and implement strategies for organizing the broader medical staff for care transformation.
During her 17 years with The Advisory Board Company, Sarah has served as the founding editor of the Daily Briefing and editor-in-chief of the American Health Line group of health policy publications. Previously, she worked for the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, where she helped to craft their communication strategy.
Sarah received her Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where she focused on health communication. She received her undergraduate degree in economics from Stanford University.
