Experience and background

Vikas Garg leads the clinical services practice in Optum Advisory and helps his payer clients manage the cost and quality of care by ensuring the payer clinical services are targeting the right populations. His team partners with clients to transform care management, utilization management, and quality programs (e.g., HEDIS and Stars). He also partners with network teams to enable value-based care programs. Prior to joining Optum, he was a partner at ZS Associates Health Plan and Provider practice where he led the cost and quality advisory services business.
