Experience & Background
Sarah is a Director on Advisory Board’s physician research team. In this role, she leads the Physician Practice Roundtable, the firm’s membership for large independent medical groups, overseeing research and program strategy for these organizations. In addition, Sarah provides research leadership and strategic and operational guidance to a range of ambulatory physician organizations and physician leaders.
Sarah’s goal is to empower physician executives to meet the demands of an evolving health care market while engaging their provider workforce in this transformation. As such, her areas of focus include independent medical group strategy, practice operations, medical group governance, ambulatory access expansion, and consumer strategy. She also oversees the firm’s research on care team redesign, including top-of-license advanced practice provider deployment.
Sarah holds a BA from Duke University. Before joining Advisory Board, Sarah led clinical research at Duke Health and Children’s National Hospital, where the majority of her work focused on the neurocognitive impacts of pediatric cancer.
