  • Array Architects: NYU Langone Health Perlmutter Cancer Center revitalizes a corridor near their Brooklyn Campus. Designed by Array Architects, the facility features two linear accelerators and 24 infusion bays in a densely populated neighborhood.   • Boulder Associates Architects: The Sutter Medical Foundation Roseville Oncology Clinic, designed by Boulder Associates, earned a Gold Touchstone Award from the Center for Healthcare Design in recognition of evidence-based design processes which support the psychosocial dimension of care for oncology patients.   • ESa: The Grandview Cancer Center provides radiation therapy, infusion treatment and clinic space in a full-service oncology program. Responding to steep site grades, ESa created a bi-level design which offers dedicated parking with entry for radiation therapy patients on the lower level, and infusion and oncology physicians on the upper level.   • FCA: FCA reimagined a former supermarket as a bright, warm place of healing, balancing airy, daylit common spaces and views of nature with privately-scaled rooms for treatment and counseling. Virtua Samson Cancer Center, a patient-first facility, features radiation oncology, infusion treatment, and an administrative suite. (© 2018 Jeffrey Totaro)
  • Perkins & Will: Designed by Perkins & Will, the UT Southwestern Medical Center's William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital Radiation Oncology Building is the first-of-its kind with a double door vault design. This improves the patient experience by reducing isolation and clutter, and allows for the creation of a "back of house" technical corridor where staff and equipment can move in a more organized fashion.   • RLF Architects: Located on a tight urban site, the Proton Therapy Pavilion is a three-level 15,780 gsf addition to the award-winning Orlando Health UF Health Cancer Center. Designed by RLF Architects, the facility provides patients low risk, precision proton therapy treatment in a nurturing, patient-focused environment, achieving an impressive success rate.   • SmithGroup: Creating a new world-class destination for cancer care, the SmithGroup's progressive design of this 187,000 sf outpatient center supports advanced treatment, precision medicine, clinical trials, clinical research, and enhanced support services under one-roof. The Brigitte Harris Cancer Pavilion supports comprehensive infusion, imaging and lab, and cancer-specific urgent care combine with holistic wellness programs including fitness, nutrition planning, cooking classes, yoga, and integrative and functional medicine. The facility also includes dedicated personal spaces and computer access as well as cancer pharmacy, retail, and food services assure patient and visitor comfort in an innovative healing environment.   • TMPartners, PLLC: TMPartners supported the design and development of Grand Strand Medical Center's expansion plan to establish radiation therapy services. The initial phase includes an addition that is easily accessible for Oncology patients and is designed to easily expand services in the future. (© 2016 Benton Henry)
  • ZGF: The Knight Cancer Institute oncology clinics, infusion, and clinical trials are housed in the upper six floors of Oregon Health & Science University Center for Health and Healing Building 2, a 400,000 SF, LEED Gold Certified building.
