The MA market faces unprecedented challenges
Although enrollment in Medicare Advantage (MA) plans continues to increase, growth has started to taper off in recent years. Between 2024 and 2025, MA enrollment increased by only 4%, the smallest spike in a decade.1 For 2026, CMS projects MA enrollment will be roughly 34 million, a decrease from 34.9 million in 2025.2
