About the graphs

The graphs show how subservice line volumes shifted between outpatient care sites from 2019-2024. The underlying data comes from the Optum de-identified Clinformatics® Data Mart (CDM) which is derived from a database of administrative health claims for members of large commercial and Medicare Advantage health plans. 1, 2, 3, 4

How to use the graphs

Use the drop-down menu to choose your subservice line of interest. Hover over any data point to see what percentage of outpatient volumes were delivered in each care site for that year and download each tab’s data by clicking the button in the bottom left corner of the graph.
