Survivorship: Meeting the unique needs of cancer survivors

As cancer screening and treatment improve, the population of US cancer survivors is growing—with estimates exceeding 20 million survivors by 2026. It’s critical that cancer centers develop survivorship programs to effectively meet survivors’ vast and diverse needs.

The CoC's standard 4.8, Survivorship Program, requires cancer programs to develop a survivorship program team and offer a minimum of three services that address the needs of cancer survivors. Review our blog, webinar, and CoC accreditation resource library to learn more about recent changes to the CoC survivorship standard.

Then use the resources below to see how your program stacks up and learn how to advance survivorship at your organization to meet the CoC accreditation standard and more.
