What do cancer patients want?

Insight #1 from the 2015 Cancer Patient Experience Survey

In a world of limited resources, cancer program leaders need to invest carefully, focusing on services that both attract new patients and improve the patient experience.

But what factors really sway cancer patients’ choice of provider? Which cancer program services and features do patients most value? How do cancer patients define—and assess—quality?

To find out, we conducted a national Cancer Patient Experience Survey, collecting data from more than 600 respondents, including cancer patients and survivors diagnosed within the past five years.
