TIME last week released its list of the "World's Top Health Tech Companies," with 58 U.S. firms earning an "outstanding" rating — the highest tier in the list.
To compile the list, TIME and Statista evaluated health tech companies worldwide on:
Scores were assigned across these three dimensions, and companies were placed into categories of "outstanding," "very high," or "high." The 400 companies with the highest scores were recognized on the list.
In total, 58 U.S. companies landed in the "outstanding" tier. The companies were categorized into six health tech market segments: AI and data analytics, diagnostics, health information and management, medical devices and wearables, prevention, and telehealth and treatment.
