Patients and their family members often receive life-changing care, forge relationships with caregivers, and develop affinity for the care organization. Our national survey of nearly 2,000 recent health care users found that one in six patients and family members expressed gratitude by sending a thank you note, giving a non-monetary gift, or making a financial donation to the hospital.
While gratitude might spark a patient’s initial interest in giving back, it is not sufficient unless cultivated. We are here to help you build a strong and lasting grateful patient and family strategy.
