About Sarah

Sarah Evans joined Advisory Board in 2013 and currently leads the Physician Executive Council, serving physician executives across the continuum of care. In this role, she oversees the firm’s physician-focused research agenda, advises research teams, and is a frequent speaker at retreats and executive meetings. Prior to leading the Physician Executive Council, Sarah served as a senior researcher with the Advisory Board’s Talent Development partnerships, developing original leadership development curriculum for emerging clinical leaders.

Sarah’s areas of expertise include: physician engagement, clinician leadership development, care variation reduction, patient experience, and health care change management.

Sarah holds a masters degree in public administration from Cornell University, a masters degree in English literature and rhetoric from Binghamton University, and a degree in gender studies from the State University of New York, College at Brockport.
