Kara is an expert partner and researcher at Advisory Board, specializing in physician strategy and operations, value-based care, consumer strategy, workforce resiliency, and service line growth. In this role, she focuses on providing strategic direction and operational guidance to a wide range of organizations and leaders.

Kara holds a PhD in human physiology and master's degrees in clinical research and population health. For over a decade, she conducted clinical research focused on the intersection of women's health, obesity and metabolism, and cardiovascular disease. She also has experience working in healthcare mergers and acquisitions as well as scientific strategy for healthcare corporations.
