Increase financial literacy and fluency
For many leaders, financial terminology is like a foreign language. Thus, the first step in making staff better financial stewards is ensuring that they understand fundamental concepts and can interpret financial statements.

How We Help
We give participants in our Performance Acceleration series a straightforward means of understanding core financial concepts and help them analyze their budgets to identify cost savings or revenue enhancement opportunities that will serve as the basis for a financial improvement project.
Build analytical acumen
Leaders must fully grasp both the financial and non-financial impact of business decisions. We help leaders build the analytical skills to do both.
We teach participants to scrutinize and evaluate business proposals to fully understand the potential financial impact, as well as implications for critical concerns such as quality, efficiency, and patient or physician satisfaction. Participants use these skills to assess their own projects and to provide feedback on their peers’ projects, ensuring that these skills are more than an academic exercise.
Enhance change leadership ability
As with any initiative, financial improvements—whether cost containment or revenue enhancements—require cooperation from a wide range of stakeholders. We teach participants how to identify critical stakeholders who have the potential to make or break their proposals, and to develop a communication plan that effectively addresses those stakeholders.
This skill is critical for any project and will serve participants well beyond the confines of the series, creating leaders who can more effectively drive change.
