For Prospective Members: How to Get the Most Out of Your Physician Leaders
Complimentary Webconference
Topics: Physician Issues, Hospital-Physician Alignment, Collaborative Relationships, Performance Improvement, Management Tools
While investments in physician leadership have become standard for most health systems, the use of best practices to optimize those investments remains extremely variable. Most organizations are scattershot in their approach with programs that lack focus and cohesion. This approach sacrifices much physician goodwill and opportunities for contribution and collaboration.
During our upcoming webconference, Advisory Board physician leadership experts Fabienne Moore, MD and Program Manager Brendan McGinty will discuss the key to getting the most out of your physician leaders. We will also have special guest. Dr. Lee Norman, Chief Medical Officer at the University of Kansas Hospital Authority, joining us for a portion of the call to offer his own perspective and experiences from years of overseeing a physician leadership program.
We will welcome all questions around physician talent development and deployment. Discussions will include:
- How do you get your doctors motivated to learn?
- What constitutes a “can’t miss” learning experience?
- How do you get your doctors to apply new skills to productive ends?
