The Biden administration's first 100 days (and beyond): Session One

May 4, 2021

Virtual   ·   2-3 p.m. ET

    Session Overview

President Biden is quickly approaching his 100th day in office—and his administration has already made a number of big moves in health policy. Since Inauguration Day, media headlines have been dominated by the Covid-19 vaccine rollout, cabinet nominations and health care appointments, and the American Rescue Plan.

But there are a wide range of other moving pieces—regulatory and waiver reviews, shifting perspectives in Congress (now including the fate of the filibuster), and ongoing legal challenges—that health care executives need to be watching. The first 100 days have also left us with several unasked and unaddressed questions around the future of value-based payment models, site-of-care shifts, price transparency, and more.

Join us for our next series of health policy executive briefings to unpack what happened in Biden's first 100 days, what comes next, and how the Biden administration and Congress could approach many of the open health policy questions. And if you missed our executive briefing series right after the Inauguration, catch up with our blog post summarizing the conversation.
