What is a culture of philanthropy? Do you even need it? What do you do with it when you have it?
Everyone wants a culture of philanthropy, but few can define what that looks like or how to measure the returns. At the 2018 Philanthropy Leadership Council national meeting we will dive into the these ambiguous waters and push forward a more clear and more constructive vision for what it means to foster a philanthropic culture at your hospital.
We’ll cover a range of strategic issues from organizing your world around the evolving service line structure, learning directly from physicians about what motivates them to partner with you, and making philanthropy a more useful part of your institution’s external identity.
Attendance is limited to the chief development officer and one “lieutenant” at the director level or above within the fundraising office, if desired. Due to the nature of the research—and the goal of fostering open dialogue among peers—we ask that you not extend invitations beyond these individuals. If you're unsure or have any questions, we encourage you to contact us.
