The Master Radiology Quality Indicator List is comprised of over 250 indicators gleaned from clinical literature, professional society guidelines, federal regulations, payers, and hospital radiology departments, which can be used to assess the quality of the radiology department with respect to department structure, processes, and clinical outcomes. This tool is intended to provide the Membership with a comprehensive list of meaningful quality indicators from which programs can distill the most important metrics for their departments.
This interactive tool allows users to score and rank indicators using a small number of evaluative criteria, including ease of measurement and clinical relevance. The tool also provides default worksheets that include indicator scores assigned by Imaging Performance Partnership researchers. In addition, users have the option of customizing the scoring methodology to reflect department-specific priorities.
