While CMS and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) finalized that certain providers have the ability to attest to a different set of meaningful use objectives and measures this year, many find it challenging to determine whether they may qualify for an alternate reporting option.

Understandably, CMS and ONC are unable to provide all possible scenarios and mention only a limited set of parameters providers should consider.
