Odds are, you are not meeting all your patients’ behavioral health needs.
Behavioral health conditions are ubiquitous. Nearly a quarter of adults have a diagnosable behavioral health condition, and two-thirds of Medicaid patients with a “top five”1 physical illness also have at least one behavioral health comorbidity.
The supply of behavioral health providers today is insufficient to meet this large and growing demand. Even more troubling, of patients who have a behavioral health need and receive treatment, only five to ten percent actually see improvement.
You have a big obligation to your patients, and a big opportunity.
