Nic leads the Global eHealth Executive Council for Advisory Board. Her areas of expertise include IT strategy, EMR optimisation including benefits realisation, EMR vendor intelligence, health care IT procurement, and project and programme management. Nic brings over 20 years industry experience to her position, including more than 11 in health care IT, most spent working in the English National Health Service.
Prior to joining Advisory Board, Nic was head of IT programmes at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn NHS Foundation Trust in England. In this role she led the implementation of clinical and business applications and turned around a failing IT-based business change programme. In a previous role at the same organisation she was responsible for information management and security. In addition she has extensive public-sector project and programme management experience.
Nic has a master’s in health informatics with distinction from the University of Leeds, a bachelor’s degree in business studies from Nottingham Trent University, and has qualifications in both project management and programme management.
