Sherry Aronson is an Executive Partner with The Advisory Board Company Research Partner program with 30+ years of experience in health system executive leadership and health care delivery consulting. Sherry is passionate about improving the health systems effectiveness and efficiency by working closely with clinicians and administrators. She is especially passionate about care variation reduction, health systems clinical operations margin enhancement and optimization. Her specific expertise includes leading multi-disciplinary teams to drive optimized patient care and experience.
Ms. Aronson’s clients included hospital systems such as Ballad Health, SSM Health, Bon Secours Mercy Health, Baptist Little Rock, WellSpan and RWJ Barnabas Health. Prior to joining Advisory Board, Ms. Aronson served as Chief of Hospital Operations for MetroHealth in Northeast Ohio and COO of Cleveland Clinic’s Hillcrest Hospital.
During her tenure in health system executive leadership Ms. Aronson commissioned Physician led, multidisciplinary teams to achieve System-wide Operational Improvements throughout acute and subacute care settings including patient placement, perioperative care, post acute care and hospital medicine services to reduce the total cost of care, avoid unnecessary admissions, improve care coordination. During her tenure at Cleveland Clinic Ms. Aronson Led $130M Hospital campus expansion while enhancing margin, physician and staff engagement and growing market share. She participated in Cleveland Clinic system-wide committees for Lab, EMR and Supply Chain integration.
