Roman Minyaylyuk is a senior analyst with The Advisory Board Company's Health Care IT Advisor. He specializes in revenue cycle strategy and technology, ICD-9/10 institutional and CPT professional coding, provider operations, pricing strategy, and IT data governance. Roman’s research interests include topics related to telehealth, emerging payment methodologies, medical geography, and physician engagement.
Previously, Roman was a revenue cycle analyst with Presence Health, assisting with chargemaster maintenance and hospital staff education. Prior to this role, he served as an operations and technology consultant with PwC, where he assisted hospitals, physician groups, and professional associations with their IT and revenue cycle-related challenges, including ICD-10 conversion, risk compliance, and new product development.
Roman received his bachelor of science in health information management from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is currently pursuing his master of arts from Northeastern Illinois University. Roman is a Registered Health Information Administrator and is an active member of both AHIMA and HIMSS.
