About Meg

Meg Aranow is a Senior Research Director with Advisory Board's Health Care IT Advisor. Previously she worked with Advisory Board’s Information Technology Strategy Council from 2012-2015. Before returning in 2019, Meg was the CEO of Edaris Health.

Meg has had a long career in academic medical centers. For 15 years she was the Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Boston Medical Center, the teaching affiliate of Boston University School of Medicine. For 9 years prior to that she held various executive positions within Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Partner’s Healthcare.

Prior to transitioning to provider organizations she held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in the Group Health Claims and Actuarial departments of The New England (now MetLife). For six years she served as a governor’s appointee to the Massachusetts Healthcare IT Council.

Meg holds a BA from Wheaton College (MA) and an MPH from Boston University.
