Liz is a senior consultant in Talent Development, which is Advisory Board’s leadership development program for nurses, physicians, and rising executives. Just as the health care environment in which we operate has evolved over time, so must the way we approach leadership. Accordingly, she has worked to revolutionize the Advisory Board Fellowship, our 18-month cohort-based leadership experience focused on building executives who excel at leading transformative change. Through this she has helped our members learn how to embrace uncertainty, lead through influence instead of authority, and find new market opportunities to help their organizations thrive.
Her tenure at Advisory Board has also included several years leading research for our international strategy programs. She led research on how to refine high risk care management programs, how to work more collaboratively as a health system in order to reduce waste and improve efficiency, and how to partner with primary care so that patients receive the right care at the right place and time.
Prior to joining the Advisory Board, Liz was a special projects manager with a non-profit working to advance the Triple Aim in its community. While there she developed a High-Risk Case Management program and facilitated numerous initiatives that brought together stakeholders from across the care continuum. Liz has lived in Romania and Nigeria; part of her work in both countries involved research projects in the area of maternal and child health. She has also worked as a strategy consultant, primarily for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
Liz holds a Master of Public Health from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.
