    • Florida/Ohio: Cleveland Clinic said it would invest $250 million over 10 years in Florida-based Indian River Medical Center as part of a proposed takeover. As part of the proposed deal between Cleveland Clinic and the medical center, Cleveland Clinic would take on $102 million in liabilities and agree not to sell the hospital for 10 years. Indian River's oversight boards are set to vote on the deal Wednesday. If the deal is approved, it is expected to close early next year (Ellison, Becker's Hospital CFO Report, 9/27).
