- Illinois: Ascension will appoint its first chief digital officer this year, the system on Monday told Modern Healthcare. Ascension CEO Anthony Tersigni would not disclose the name of the executive, but the person will come from a major publicly traded company, according to Modern Healthcare. - Massachusetts: Nantucket Cottage Hospital is building a new $89 million hospital building in Nantucket. According to officials, it is the only new hospital under construction in the state.
