The list of nominees includes federal health officials like President Barack Obama and HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius; hospital executives like Dignity Health's Lloyd Dean and Ascension Health Alliance's Anthony Tersigni; prominent physicians like Atul Gawande and Eric Topol; and many more.

  • The Advisory Board Company congratulates the many members and Daily Briefing readers named to this year's list. The Advisory Board Company's CEO Robert Musslewhite is also among this year's nominees.

Readers have until June 14 to vote for their top five candidates. Their votes will account for 50% of the outcome, and the remaining 50% will be determined by senior editors at Modern Healthcare.
