Stroke is the third leading cause of mortality in the U.S.—and hospitals across the nation need to formalize their stroke programs to manage this growing population of stroke patients. While many hospitals are pursuing Primary Stroke Center (PSC) certification, advanced programs are looking to achieve a more rigorous Comprehensive Stroke Center (CSC) certification to enable their physicians to provide stroke patients with a full range of medical, surgical, and interventional care.
