- Illinois: Seven nurses and one nurse aide in Anderson Hospital Pavilion for Women's OB-GYN unit, which has about 80 employees, gave birth within five months of each other. The first of the babies was born in August 2018 while the last was born in mid-December 2018 (Kindelan, ABCNews, 1/23).
- Kentucky: Effective Jan. 21, Norton Healthcare in Louisville will be waiving all copayments and deductibles for currently furloughed government workers. This policy extends to all 14 of Norton's immediate care centers and EDs at its six hospitals, as well as telemedicine visits (Haefner, Becker's Hospital CFO Report, 1/23).
