- Arizona/Florida: Florida-based Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) has named Robert Gould as president and CEO of CTCA Phoenix. Gould previously served as president of Banner Health's Arizona West Division and as CFO and COO of Fairbanks Memorial Hospital & Denali Center in Alaska (Vaidya, Becker's Hospital Review, 4/10; Gonzales, Phoenix Business Journal, 4/11).
- Kentucky: The Louisville Health Department has lowered the price of the hepatitis A vaccine from $65 to $25 in response to a hepatitis A outbreak that is surging as the city prepares to host the Kentucky Derby next month.
