About the Webconference

Rapid cycle improvement projects are popular among quality departments. But getting physicians to participate in those projects? Not as easy.

Hear from executive leaders at Alegent Health, one of Crimson’s 2012 Physician Partnership Award winners showcasing how they engaged physicians and clinical leaders from across 10 hospitals in a “Care Redesign” initiative that has saved the system $2.01 million to date.

Listen to this webconference to learn how to:

  • Foster a culture of quality from the system to the hospital to the care team level
  • Leverage the innovative analytics of Crimson Continuum of Care to support system-wide performance improvement efforts
  • View select outputs from the rapid cycle process, including example order sets and educational tools

The Care Redesign Initiative

Launched in 2011, Alegent Health’s Care Redesign initiative is an effort to improve care processes and outcomes using a combination of data-driven analytics from Crimson Continuum of Care, rapid cycle improvement, and a commitment to engaging physician leaders.

Under the leadership of a Care Redesign Steering Committee, this 10-hospital system selected key DRGs with high variation in cost and quality, assigned one DRG to each campus, and launched a multitude of rapid cycle projects across the system. In this webconference, executive leaders from Alegent Health will discuss insights on launching this impressive program, sharing results as well as specific examples from the Stroke initiative.
