What are the Performance Acceleration partnerships?
Performance Acceleration partnerships enable hospitals to improve outcomes across specific, mission-critical metrics through employee-led project work. We offer three distinct partnerships:

Our Services
Regardless of topical focus, each partnership includes the following services.
Focused performance improvement projects
Each engagement begins with an onsite executive summit to define project goals and make partnership decisions to support achievement of the defined objectives
Executive support
Throughout the project, executive sponsors receive regular faculty consultation, as well as feedback on project and participant progress.
Skill-building workshops
Participants attend a series of three full-day onsite workshops to hone critical skills and advance project work.
Project support resources
Participants receive significant support to ensure project success:
- Online access to tools and worksheets
- On-demand consultation direct project feedback and from Advisory Board staff
- Assistance navigating Advisory Board resources
- Harvard MangeMentor PLUS e-learning modules
Results summit
Following project completion, participants, executives, and faculty convene for a results summit to report on outcomes, recognize individual contributions, and discuss how to maintain performance gains.
e-Learning modules
The Advisory Board Talent Development partnerships offer access to more than 40 focused tutorials through the health care services edition of Harvard ManageMentor Plus, a highly interactive e-learning platform. These modules address an array of common challenges faced by managers in the health care setting and complement our workshops and intensives.
