The second intensive of the Advisory Board Fellowship focuses on the large scale macro-level forces that are shaping the health care industry. From demographics, to economics, technology and politics; there is no way to escape the forces that are rapidly changing the very nature of the care that hospitals need to deliver and the ways that we interact with patient’s, colleagues, and data. The following article looks at those forces and how these inescapable forces will change health care in ways that we’re only just beginning to comprehend.
