Developing your next generation of leaders

How We Help

Preparing your senior leaders for executive-level responsibility

The Advisory Board Fellowship strengthens the business and leadership abilities that your senior leaders will need as they take on greater, executive-level responsibilities.

During six education intensives that span 18 months, fellows will explore timeless and timely topics in leadership, business, and health care policy so they can return to their organizations with the knowledge, confidence, and experiences needed to successfully lead their organizations into the future.

Deepening and broadening expertise

Fellows will deepen and broaden their perspectives by exploring key topics of executive relevance, such as strategy, finance, data/IT, human capital, and physician alignment. By thinking bigger and executing better, your senior leaders will be ready to tackle new organizational priorities.

Amplifying the strength of your leadership bench

Continuous education is a staple of effective leadership, yet many organizations fail to make these critical investments in their emerging leaders. Sending your high potential leaders to the Advisory Board Fellowship will give them opportunities to learn from top innovators, practitioners, and academics in health care. Equipped with an array of insights, fellows will bring increased value to their organization’s leadership team.

Cultivating collaboration across the care continuum

Your senior leaders will expand their capacity to collaborate across teams, divisions, health systems, and key affiliates along the care continuum—a critical ingredient for success in an era of increasing complexity and interdependence.

“I have seen much more self-confidence in the people that are coming back from the program. They think bigger, they think more creatively, they are more excited about their job—it is almost like they have a new sense of purpose.”
