In October of 2012, we attended a meeting of the Radiological Devices Panel who provided the FDA with their recommendation for premarket approval of Hologic’s new C-View software.
This software is now FDA approved and has the ability to synthesize a 2D mammography image using information from the 3D tomosynthesis exposure on Hologic’s Selenia Dimensions unit.
