Last week, more than 15,000 interventional cardiologists and cardiac surgeons from around the world travelled to the annual Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) conference in San Francisco, Calif. As a technology-focused conference, TCT is the largest annual interventional cardiology meeting held in the U.S. and offers clinical symposia, new device presentations, and late-breaking trials pertinent to the cardiovascular community.
While the conference has been dominated by drug-eluting stent news in past years, structural heart interventions, heart failure therapies, and future pipeline concerns all received significant coverage this year.
