This will be the first collaboration to fully incorporate CSC programs and services into a hospital.

A recent Coping With Cancer study sheds some light on what factors impact cancer patients' quality of life at the end of life.
Researchers found that religious prayer, pastoral care, and physician-patient therapeutic alliance all had a positive impact on the patients' quality of life. Intensive care unit stays in the last week of life and in-hospital deaths had a negative impact.
