Registration and Member Toolkit
The Nursing Practice Readiness Tool (NPRT) is a customizable, automated survey developed by Center research staff at the request of our members. The tool is designed to capture both new graduate and experienced nurses’ perceptions of new graduate nurse performance across 36 key competencies.
Assessing performance on both clinical and non-clinical skills, this tool enables nurse educators and leaders to identify opportunities for enhancing new graduate nurse proficiency and benchmark performance against the Center’s database of national survey results.

- Fully automated administration and analysis, eliminating paperwork and spreadsheet manipulation
- Ability to administer the survey to all nursing staff of select units
- Less than 15-minute survey completion time
- Results enable detailed examination of 36 key new graduate nurse competencies from both experienced and new graduate nurse perspectives

Getting Started
