About the Webconference

As health care leaders appropriately adjust staffing for patient acuity, operating costs will eventually become unsustainable. To prevent costs from spiraling upward and out of control, nurse executives must begin to innovate on the inpatient staffing model.

This interactive session details several ideas for overcoming barriers to evolving the inpatient staffing model, including the challenge of fixed ratios and unreliable support staff.

After this session, nurse leaders will be equipped to:

  • Understand and overcome barriers to effective RN delegation
  • Describe potential initiatives for ensuring RNs are equipped to practice at the top of their license
  • Implement innovative staffing models, even in an environment with fixed nurse to patient ratios
