Measuring return on investment is frequently cited as one of the most daunting—and important—challenges facing hospital marketers today. Our Marketing Campaign ROI Toolkit is designed to help marketers conduct meaningful ROI assessments on direct outreach campaigns that include control groups. The tool provides three resources for computing impact: The ROI Calculator, reveals the return of a given campaign in terms of volume, revenue, and contribution profit. The Significance Calculator conducts a test of statistical significance on differences in response rates. The third portion of the toolkit is the Sensitivity Analyzer, which applies the basic ROI equation to a proposed campaign to demonstrate the impact of changes in variables such as response rate, cost per unit of outreach, and profit per response.
