According to our results, outpatient volumes overall grew slightly from 2008 to 2009. However, in Q1 2010, outpatient volumes decreased relative to Q1 2009.

From 2008 to 2009, respondents overall exhibited strong growth in PET volumes (I'm referring to PET volumes that are performed on either PET scanners or hybrid PET/CT scanners).

As we begin to cull the preliminary results of our 2010 Imaging Volume Trends Survey, I will make some frequent posts across the next few weeks focusing on some interesting findings from the data.
