The Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) has added two respected and recognizable names in the health care IT industry to its rank and file to continue the quest for Stage 2 meaningful use and widespread adoption of EHRs. Judy Murphy, RN, FACMI, FHIMSS, FAAN, formerly of Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, WI, joined ONC in early December as the new Deputy National Coordinator for Programs and Policy. Additionally, David Muntz, CHCIO, FCHIME, FHIMSS, Senior Vice President & CIO, Baylor Health Care System will be joining ONC in January in the newly created role of Principal Deputy National Coordinator.
