General Electric (GE) has encouraged its customers to delay attestation until they update their meaningful use certified reporting module and verify workflows, noting that clients that have already attested may have done so with inaccurate data.

This is not the last we will see of this issue: Many other providers could find a significant gap between their certified EHRs’ reports and the meaningful use specifications that CMS requires for successful attestation.
